Warning: Love in construction - Sarah Hall
It’s the four-letter word that makes the world go round, love. We may all have an idea of what love is and the many forms it comes in; a mother and child, a brother and sister, husbands and wives, teenagers and the internet, the combinations are endless. But is romantic love even real, or just something that has been socially constructed?
The best part of starting Allié is watching articles my friends write go viral.
If you’re reading this, it’s likely because you follow me on Tumblr, and because you’re on Tumblr, you’re likely on a whole host of other social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook. And if you’re on either of those two, you probably have seen boatloads of marriage equality posts. You’ve…
"but I learned at the age of fifteen that to get by you had to find the one thing you can do better than anybody else … at least this was so in my case. I figured that out early. It was writing. It was the rock in my sock. Easier than algebra. It was always work, but it was always worthwhile work. I was fascinated early by seeing my byline in print. It was a rush. Still is."
For all the stuff I can’t post on this work promotion blog!
Keep your eyes fixed on Allié. Our writer Johnny is working on a piece regarding the trans community. I’ve just seen his interview with Joe, someone who is gender neutral. The write up needs to be produced so I can’t give an exact date on when it will go live, but it will be soon!

i wonder what schools this poll was taken in, but how any females (or any person at all) could agree w/rape seems very counter-intuitive…
I have a little side blog now, called Super Ladies: Missing. It’s dedicated to showcasing the Super Hero/Comic merch that fails to include their female characters. Submissions are open, so if you’re out and about and come across something take a picture and send it to us! Online merch is dandy too.
